1. Change the engine oil
Due to the large number of varieties, specifications and models, the requirements for the used engine oil are not the same, and two replacement methods are proposed:
① If there is no clear requirement for the engine oil in the diesel engine manual or there is no distinction between “winter and summer”, the engine oil should be released when the diesel engine is hot or the operation is over, and the water temperature is about 80 degrees. Precipitate at 24 hours and add back to use. The precipitated oil should be poured out, and new oil should be added when the oil is insufficient.
②If the engine oil is divided into winter and summer in the diesel engine manual, the summer engine oil should be replaced and used. The method is: make the water temperature of the diesel engine reach 80 degrees, and drain the engine oil while it is hot (be careful not to burn your hands). After waiting for 30 minutes, tighten the oil drain plug, add an equal amount of diesel oil to the oil pan, run it at a medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes, release the cleaning diesel oil, and reserve it for washing. In this way, the oil passage can be drained and cleaned, the oil passage is unimpeded, and the oil passage is lubricated.
2. Hygienic cleaning
Perform a hygienic cleaning of the machine. Clean up the dirt, sundries, grease, and give the machine a thorough wash. In the process of cleaning, clearing and cleaning, loose nuts, rivets and surface defects can be found, and they should be replaced and repaired in time.
3. Clean the three filters and three nets
Air filter, diesel filter, and oil filter are commonly known as three filters.
The main points to pay attention to when cleaning the three filters are:
① The third filter is a paper filter element, except for the air filter element that can be used after cleaning, it is best to replace the rest with new ones.
② Metal filter screens and filter elements can only be cleaned with clean oil, brushes or air cylinders, blow out dirt with gas, and must not be burned. “Three nets” refer to the filter screens of the diesel fuel filling port, engine oil filling port and exhaust gas discharge port, which should be thoroughly cleaned to make the entry and exit unimpeded.
