In the regular maintenance work of Weichai generator, it is inevitable that parts need to be cleaned, so how to fully remove the oil stains, carbon deposits, scale and rust on the surface of the generator set parts?
1. Carbon deposit removal
To remove carbon deposits, a simple mechanical removal method can be used, that is, use a metal brush or scraper, etc., but this method is not easy to clean Weichai generator carbon deposits, and it is easy to damage the surface of parts. To use a chemical method to remove carbon deposits, that is, first use a decarbonizer (chemical solution) to heat to 80~90 ° C, expand and soften the carbon deposits on the parts, and then use a brush to remove them.
2. oil cleaning
When the oil deposits on the surface of the parts are thick, they should be scraped off first. Generally, oil stains on the surface of parts should be cleaned in hot cleaning solution. Common cleaning solutions include alkaline cleaning solution and synthetic detergent. When using alkaline cleaning solution for hot cleaning, heat it to 70~90℃, immerse the parts for 10~15min, then take it out and rinse it with clean water, then dry it with compressed air.
It is not safe to use gasoline to clean;
Aluminum alloy parts cannot be cleaned in strong alkaline cleaning solution;
Non-metallic rubber parts should be cleaned with alcohol or brake fluid.
3. Scale removal
Scale generally adopts the chemical removal method. The chemical solution for removing scale is added to the coolant. After the engine works for a period of time, the coolant is replaced. Commonly used chemical solutions for removing scale are: caustic soda solution or hydrochloric acid solution, sodium fluoride hydrochloric acid descaling agent and phosphoric acid descaling agent. Phosphoric acid descaling agent is suitable for removing scale on aluminum alloy parts.
After the Weichai generator parts are cleaned, everyone should pay attention to the direction of installation. Some parts can be installed in the opposite direction, but it is not good for the equipment to be installed regardless of the direction. Therefore, everyone should install it back. Pay attention to the installation direction of the parts.
